Terms & acceptable use
PayGate is non-custodial software: it never receives, holds or transmits customer funds. Payments go directly from the payer to the merchant's own wallet. PayGate only monitors public blockchain data for addresses derived from watch-only keys the merchant provides.
Merchants are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to them (including tax, consumer-protection, sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules), for keeping their wallet backups safe, and for deciding how to handle late, partial or excess payments, and refunds.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Exchange rates come from third-party price APIs and are locked only for the invoice's validity window. Payment detection relies on public block explorers and can be delayed when they are unavailable.
Prohibited: illegal goods or services, fraud, sanctions evasion, or any use that violates applicable law. We may disable accounts that break these terms.
